The Sign the Guestbook page: This is the page that your guests will leave their

The Preview your Entry page: This page is the same for all guestbooks regardless of style
selected. It serves as a preview only to your guests of what they have entered. They have
the option of previewing what they just entered, and seeing it as it will appear in your
Guestbook. They MUST enter the Image Verification Numbers in order to post their message. They can at that time, either submit the entry, or use the back
button to correct any typos or make corrections to their comments. If incorrect numbers are entered the message automatically goes to the Spam Log in the Control Panel and the
message doesn't get posted in the Guestbook.
This Guestbook is the most secure Guestbook offered today: Spammers have not hacked this Guestbook in Two Years. This is a GUARANTEE!! There are
features in this Guestbook that keep the Spammers out. You will NEVER have to delete Spam from your Guestbook. I want you test out the Guestbook I have here and try to Spam
it and see what happens :-)
Smileys added to Guestbook: I have this set to add them; as there are a variety to choose from. I will give you the option as to
whether or not you want that enabled and if you want to enable HTML posting in your Guestbook. I personally have my Guestbook set to not post HTML as people love to leave images or imbed music to play in your Guestbook,
but this is up to you.
The View the Guestbook page: The first
page will give you the option to view as many entries as you desire, there are links on the bottom
so you can navigate your Guestbook. You tell me in the set up of your Guestbook how many entries you would
like on each page. I personally prefer 10 to a page. There will also be a link back to the URL of your Website or whatever
URL you specify you want linked.
YOU select the styles and colors of your choice, from
many combinations of graphics found at Backgrounds By Marie. Or
if you have your own you would like for me to incorporate for you, just send them to me. Alternately if you want, you can
tell me what you're looking for and I'll design it for you. (NOTE: If you want the Background graphic you use on your main
page, just tell me the URL and I will use that so you're site will have continuity to it. This IS the best way to go).
GUESTBOOK WALL
As the Guestbooks go
up, you will have the choice to have your Guestbook used as a "Guestbook
Wall" Guestbook. This is featured on the next page. A person would be able to click on the link to your
actual Guestbook and see exactly what it looks like. Your permission must be given for
your Guestbook to be listed.
The Options in your Administration
Control Panel:
Delete Messages At Your Discretion
When you view your entries from
your administration area, you will find options to select as many entries as you wish for
deletion. Furthermore, you see the entire entry to be deleted, so you know you are
deleting the correct one(s). You may also delete just Private Messages.
View Your Spam Log
Just Highlight Spam Log and click Go. Here you can view what people TRIED to post to
your Guestbook but it was never entered. These messages are purged daily.
View Your Message Manager
Just Highlight Message Manager and click Go. Here you can view your messages and Private Messages that have been posted to
your Guestbook. You have the ability to reply to each post and it will show up in your Guestbook.
View Your Guestbook
Just Highlight your Guestbook at the top and click Go. You'll be brought back to your Guestbook view page and if you've added
comments to posts, they will show up.
The Bad Words Are Set By Default
The Bad Words list contains a
selection of extremely offensive words. It is on by default, and will ensure that any of the
words on the bad words list are deleted from the guests comments upon submission.
About The Administration Control Panel
Basically the only things you'll be looking at is your Spam Log and your Message Manager in case you wish to see how many
Spams didn't get through or if you want to view a private message or post a reply to a comment left in your Guestbook. Also, you can click up top and go to your Guestbook. You will
tell me what password you want to access the Control Panel. All other functions listed in the Control Panel are what I set up for you to get the look of your Guestbook and these SHOULD
Not be accessed.
The Ability To Have Me Instantly Edit Your Profile
You may edit the following by E-mailing me with the information:
Site Title
Site URL
Your E-mail Address
The Ability To Save Your Guestbook Entries
You may at download your entire book at any
time by selecting "Save As" from your browser. In this manner, you may archive
your book to keep all of your entries forever. The Guestbook is set to hold
200 entries. NOTE: When you reach
the specified 200 entries, the guestbook deletes the oldest entry first.

Please E-mail if you want these added:
Munges all E-mail addresses posted by visitors, but you can view them in your Control Panel. This keeps the SPAM harvesters from grabbing their addresses
You can force all messages to be Private
You can approve all messages before they are posted
You can lock the Guestbook
Limit the number of Smileys a vistor can add in a post
Set the deletion of old messages in months or keep them forever
Set to have E-mail addresses backed up and E-mailed to you
